This is the discussion and application thread for the CGI DT. I will be taking applications for the storybook until March 22nd, which is next Monday. I can't guarantee that you'll be accepted, but here are a few things that might help you:

Name: Briar Aaron
Age: 28
Gender: Female
Appearance: Briar, at five feet, seven inches tall, has long, wavy tresses of auburn hair. Her wide eyes are dark gray in color, all of which compliments an hourglass figure and perfect, tanned skin.

Personality: Briar is polite and generally shy. She is very modest and and often doubts her ability to complete things. She doesn't like to lead situations, and is afraid of having too much power or responsibility, afraid she'll make things terribly wrong.
History: Briar was born on June 2nd, 2005, in New Jersey. She grew up in an upper-middle class home, satisfied with her life but never truly happy. At first, she wanted to be an author. When she had to write a script for her middle school English class, everything changed.

She began to wonder what it would be like to perform-and when the teacher picked a script for the class to perform, Briar volunteered, and she loved every bit of it. Afterward, she took drama classes and excelled.

She was able to land a very small role in a popular movie when she was 16. A director loved her, despite her short screen time, and cast her in the lead role of his movie, and she was nominated for best actress, although she did not win.

Briar sought to continue her career, but everything was going downhill with CGI starting then. She sorely missed her short career and is constantly at her computer, typing short skits and bringing her friends over to perform them, desperate and deprived of what she loved.

Achievements: Nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress when she was 19.

Hey girl! I've decided that I fail at Storybooks, and have decided to do one. And what better one to try out for than yours? None.

Name: Miss Ruby Kip
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Appearance: Long blonde hair, tight curls. Deep brown eyes with little maroon dots surrounding the pupil. She is tall, around six foot, a curvy body, not stick skinny.

Personality: She is a bit stuck-up. She walks with the nose to the heavens, her back straight, and her shoulders up. She thinks she can do anything, and be the best at it.
History:
Born on July 20th, 2013 in San Francisco, California.
Grew up rich - filthy rich. Since she was a child, she always changed her career dreams, but each failed for the same reason. Writer, artist, bakery owner, even a hostess at a local Italian restaurant. But, after studying almost every profession, she found one that her father would never be able to buy for her. She wanted to be an actress.
She moved to Los Angeles immediately, learning that the best way to accomplish her dream was to get down there, and just audition after audition. Eventually, she hoped, someone would like her.
And one did, a man, dead now, by the name of Marcus Finch. He was in love with her, and after the movie was over, divorced his wife to date her, even though she was only eighteen at the time.
After Marcus died a year after their marriage, she had to work for her jobs, since his powerful Producing power no longer mattered. But, like all actors, she was affected by the CGI.
She now spends every day of her rich life - now a billionaire from her husband's, and family's money, since they are recently dead, too - in her living room, sipping scotch and watching Alice in Wonderland over and over, wishing that the movies could only be half as mad as they were back then.

Name: Parker Williams
Age:35
Gender: male
Appearance: tall, slightly muscular. bright blue eyes, blond hair. Likes to dress fashionably and is always wearing converse tennis shoes.
Picture:
Personality: Thinks he's cooler than he is, but he's not conceited (it's really just amusing). He is good-humored but will fight for what he believes. He is immensely creative and pretty intelligent. He's young hearted.
History: Grew up in a normal family, studied CGI technology in college at MIT (Massacussets Institute of Technology) and meant to be one of the guys who did all the technical stuff on the computers. But, somewhere along the way he fell in love with the creative filmmaking aspect of things. He wanted to write, he wanted to direct. When he discovered more in depth what the film industry used to be like he desperately wanted in.
Type: filmmaker
Achievements: has studied to create CGI productions and has worked to create them for several years.

Lauren, the main post says film-makers have to be over 35 ^^

Name: Olivier (Ollie) Perenio
Age: 48
Gender: Male
Appearance: Olivier is starting to look old. His brown hair is thinning and his hairline has receded quite far but there's still a spark in his eyes. Olivier might not look like much but as far as confidence and sexuality goes, he is an expert. There's something strangely alluring about a man who has slept with more actresses than almost any leading man.

Personality: Confident, ruthless, blunt. Olivier knows what he wants and when he says jump, you had better already be jumping. He raises his voice but he doesn't shout, he aims to direct a scene perfectly the first time it's shot but never uses the first shot. It can always get better. That's one of his mottos.
History: Film making has always been a part of his life, it's the family business. His parents are actors, his sister acts and well, how else was he supposed to explain filming his fourteen year old sister in her underwear when he was ten? Olivier was born to make films! He's a crude sort of man at times and the CGI thing never suited him. He likes people. He needs people. He needs to be able to move them around, send them to fetch him coffee, tell them what to wear, how to stand. He also rather enjoys sleeping with his leading ladies thank you very much.
Type: Film-maker
Achievements: If there was an award for sleeping with the most actresses, he'd have got bored of winning it already. Aside from that, his films are the best and he has a modest host of trophies.

Name: Rose Willams

Age: 22

Gender: Female

Appearance: She is thin, with bright blue eyes and medium blonde hair. She has always been a bit pale, though. She can give these looks when she is angry that could make a rattlesnake scared.

Picture:

Personality: She might be just the nicest actor out there. She is not shy, per se, but is really kind. She is bold and funny and brave.

History: She was raised on a farm, but by chance was able to make it big when she accidently spilled coffee on a director. Despite the accident, the two became close friends and soon Rose landed herself many major rolls in movies. She is still very grateful to him and has not grown into a spolied star.

Type:Actress

Achievements: Has won an Academy Award and an Oscar. She also won several singing competitions, she sings as a second job. As AMV magazine said: "She's got that two talent to her, but she shines above the others in the same category because she has got a voice that could make a blind person see and the additude of an angel."

Name: Hunter Williams
Age:28
Gender:Male
Appearance: Tall (over 6 foot), glossy black hair that goes just below his ears. Electric blue eyes, and sharp definite features. Pale white skin, and very muscular build. (In other words, insanely gorgeous).
Picture:
Personality:Strong willed, and outgoing. He always stands up for what he believes in, and wont let himself get thrown into the trash. He has a very calm attitude, so he's really good at getting his message across without any anger, or agitation. He's likes women, and is usually very chivalrous.
History:He was born on August 8, 2005, and managed to land himself a few minor roles in a few major films when he was a teen. He was born and raised in Australia, but moved to America eight years ago, in hope that he could find some real-life actors to continue his profession. Because of this, he's got a faint aussie accent lining his speech.
Type: Actor
Achievements: Won many childhood awards and acting roles, but nothing since he was 19.

I've extended the deadline to next Monday so more people can have the opportunity to join this storybook. We need a minimum of two more people; filmmakers, please.

Are we still doing this?

We can! The reason I didn't start it is that not enough people joined, but if you would like to go ahead and post a profile-for a filmmaker, if you would-we can see if we can get a few more people and maybe try to start this sucker.
