I have an idea that makes this problem go away. The group, ready to leave, stumbles upon Zel in the stables. All of a sudden, an alarm rings out, and guards begin to rush about. They see the group and immediately draw steel. The group plus Zel fights off the first wave, then realizes the futility of it and decides to run for it. Zel becomes a part of the group by circumstance.
Got YWS? I do.

Shadowsun, you have to put up a character profile, first; you really can't just jump in without letting everyone else in the storybook know. Mkay?

I'm not quite sure how to integrate him into the story though.

Perhaps he leads the assault on the group when Harris' army regroups to avenge their dead general. The force under him is annihilated and the group takes him prisoner.

Fand, I did post a bio before I posted part of the storybook.

This is a lot differant than the other storybooks I've become part of though, and Hunter said:
Hunter wrote:If Dreffan did decide to kill Harris then, he wouldn't leave any witnesses.

So I've changed my post.

The people who haven't posted recently really should. xD I'm curious as to what's been happening with your characters.

Shadowsun, any ideas on how Sighard will end up with the group?

I was thinking, Sighard is the replacement guard. A bell tolls to tell the current guard that it's his turn to move on. Sighard goes to the Generals room, shortly after Dreffan leaves. He enters the room and finds the General dead. What would be the logical conclusion then?

Is it too late to join this, parchance?

Whence, I joined JIN on page 18. ;) Have you thought up a character?

Zel could've been in the stables, seen Ria and Becky's dual, and then gone back to sleep. :) If you want to post more about Zel, there's no reason not to. Also, a lot of the characters are in the stables right now so they could find him soon.

Yeah....whoever is outside the General's room when Dreffan leaves is gonna die. Better Sighard is the replacement, rather than the guy who gets his throat slit by Dreffan.
