Ohohohoho. Mood swings, magical flare ups. Weird compulsions. Might even hear things that others normally wouldn’t. You might even discover magic you didn’t know you had! For examples, Brynn get extra impulsive and unstable and his magic does funky stuff (see his profile for actual examples). Ryn might have weird shadowy magical smoke drifting off him. And also crazy power flares for said peoples’ magic! They might be able to do stuff during a Red Moon (especially when full and/or flaring) that’s beyond their capabilities when the moon is being chill and not freaking the heck out.

It’ll be linked to existing magic if you have any or personality so I imagine Maggie might be extra obsessed with shiny things than she usually is. Vaughn’s fiendish traits might show up more and his scrying might get crazy strong and/or unpredictable.

As for the good Captain, his water-related abilities may be more prominent during such a time. Like his eyes might randomly glow and his skin might get more scaly. He might even have trouble breathing above-water for similar reasons due to his gills being weird. He could even develop magic, if that’s something you want to have fun with.

OF COURSE, these are just examples but. You know. It should give you an idea of what you might expect. I might find some kind of chart I can roll for to see what effect it’ll have on Ryn…

You have a point. Hmm. I don’t feel like it’s that confusing but we’ll see if Winter feels like giving him a slightly different name or not?

Hmmmm, would it make sense if someone's fear/paranoia was also upped during the blood moon? totally not asking this because Magpie is terrified of fire...

@Omni I imagine Vaughn's old captain was fairly well known, so there's a pretty decent chance that Andarian could've known them. It's certainly possible that Andarian has met or heard of Vaughn -- I'm down to scheme if you have any ideas about it lol

And also yes! Vaughn has tattoos! Forgot to add it to their character form but they've got some on their arms + a pig and a rooster on their feet.

Okay I have added what Andarian does during a red moon -- i floundered a bit but hopefully it works

Updated Vaughn's profile to include what happens to them during a red moon!
