I'm down to DM this, so I do wanna see about some brainstorming. The whole idea of us like jokingly DnDing and creating characters of ourselves but also playing those characters, is that something we still wanna do? I'm not sure how the logistics will be but I can definitely start brainstorming ^^
Thank you for volunteering to DM this! Brainstorming definitely sounds like a good place to start.
I'd be down for doing that if everyone else was, but I also really like the idea of throwing already existing characters into D&D and D&D-ifying them—especially if they're aware they're not supposed to be in D&D. I've tried running roleplays like that before, but they unfortunately died when the other writers became less active on YWS.
Hmm...I'd be down for both of those I think let's try and come to a consensus on this one and then we can start throwing plot ideas at the wall and see what sticks

Hello! You? Yes you reading this. Have a nice day because you're wonderful and you deserve it!
If I'm still welcome in this roleplay, I liked the idea of the existing characters being d&d-ified.

My life has gotten pretty busy, but I’m not one to turn down a possible roleplay! I will reiterate that I’ve never done D&D and have no idea how haha but I’m definitely still interested!

Since the characters of ourselves (the ones playing/running the campaign) wouldn’t be the real characters, which are the ones we’ve dndified is that a word? it is now and are going to have character sheets and the like, does that mean the characters of ourselves are more like NPCs that anyone can write for whenever we alternate to a conversation between them? I could see that being more helpful for whenever we post for them, because although each person here would post for their DnD character, there’d often be a conversation taking place between the players (“us”) at the same time. If anyone could write for the players as they made the post for what their character is doing, we wouldn’t have to each make a post just for a quick response in the outside conversation if we weren’t planning for our character to do anything. I hope what I’m suggesting makes sense!
