This is the discussion thread for The Haunted Asylum In The Hill Storybook. This is my first time running a story book so please bear with me. Ask anything you like and lets see where this goes.
Hey! So, I'm in, but should I post my profile here or on the actual thingy magigy thing? And we should probably talk about the characters as well. Since this is your storybook, you would have the most say in saying whether or not something works in the story. Like, I'm most comfortable with fantasy, so I'm most likely to revert back to some elements from that genre that wouldn't function well within the story, and it would be your job to call that out.
Okay, then let's get started on character creation! (it's my favorite part of anything ever, like, I create a character to play at family gatherings and everything. Because my family is no fun)
So my character will be a short girl with pixy-cut neon orange hair, freckled, tan skin and brown eyes. That should be enough to get a general picture in your head.
I'm not sure if we're allowed to make our actual characters supernatural beings, so I'll just stick with her being a human for now (though I have some ideas if you say that we can have supernatural creatures, but I might not use them either way)
Her backstory will be this; she used to live in a high-income neighborhood, but she ran away when she was seventeen because her parents wanted her to take over the family business, banking, and she would rather carve her own eyes out with a spoon than do that.
My character will be 5'7" fit and strong, but also awkward. Shoulder length black hair with white streaks, usually in a braid, green eyes, tan skin.
Backstory: She is 17, she was taken from her home when she was 6, and has been stuck in this unknown school, where she was trained to be an assassin. She know works for an agency.

"I'm erasing myself from the narrative. Let future historians wonder how Eliza reacted when you broke her heart
You'd better wise up, Pony... you get tough like me and you don't get hurt. You look out for yourself and nothing can touch you, man. — Dallas Winston, The Outsiders
