Would it be possible for a sea-aligned creature (like a sea serpent) to take a human form and be one of the passengers for whatever reason I can come up with? (I'm still not sure what it will be, so I just wanted to check before I put too much thought into it.) Also, if you need more antagonists, I'd gladly play the part of a mermaid as well as the character I was already planning on writing for!

Yup, that would be cool, @saentiel!

I don't think we need a ton of antagonists. Worst comes to worst there'll just be a bunch of no player characters. C: just do a charry you'd like to do! C:

@Holysocks , I was thinking a creature that predominantly has a human form, but also has an aquatic form as well when she gets into the water. Not on the mermaids' side, but drawn to the sea. So she'd be like a human, but also would be able to move through the water in some aquatic animal or creature form. (She wouldn't have any special water-bending powers or anything, because that just makes things less fun)

Yup, that's okay, @ajruby12! c: Looking forward to see what you come up with! ^_^

And since you two sorta have a similar idea for your characters, (aruby12 and @saentiel) you might want to consider that your characters of of the same 'race', like perhaps some sort of sea shape-shifters who change into a certain sea creature when in the water (though it differs from person to person what that sea creature would be, e.g: Saentiel's might be a sea serpent, and ajruby's might be a killer whale. But the two are the same race).

But that's up to you two whether you want to do that or not! c:

I would be good with that! I'll get working on my character (although I'm not sure when I can get it up)

I got my character up! I mentioned this in a PM to @ajruby12, but I was thinking that maybe a group of sea shapeshifters - all serpents - decided to go live in the Great Lakes, and that my character is the descendant of ones of those. Which is why she's more accustomed to her serpent form, while @ajruby12's character is more accustomed to her human form. Would that work?

I'm excited too! C: And we just have three more character templates to be done up, I think. And a little more thought on the mermaids and then I think we'll be ready to start soon!

Submitted my characters! Sorry for the delay, I had a few extra work commitments last month but will be back to normal by the time the SB starts :)
