John 14:27: Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
This sounds interesting! Sadly, I think my involvement level will be more on the low end (things are crazy irl), so I think I'll be a citizen.
So: 1. Is it okay if I think about really joining for a little longer? (I don't want to just drop out on you guys in the middle of it.) 2. Would the inkeeper's son who's a musician and the violin teacher of the town be okay as a character?

I'm going to take a chance and join. I'm really attached to the idea now! I'll have a CP done probs by Friday.
Also, is this story set in the "real" world or an alternate one? I just need to know if I can mention certain styles of music (like gypsy music or reels, etc.) or maybe even name some composers (though I probably won't)? Like would they even know what "gypsies" are? (If you believe this is a derogatory term, would it be okay to use the name of certain people groups that is most widely acknowledged today?)

It's an alternate world, but I don't see why they couldn't have gypsies. For composers (or anything historical, really) I'd recommend making up fictional names.
I'm probably in for this - expect a profile at the weekend? I'm also happy to be delegate or citizen and male or female so let me know before Sunday if you have a preference!

Guys, if I had to pick which character would make the best murderer, I could never do it! I love them all, and they could ALL make for a good murderer. This is going to be INTERESTING trying to suss out the culprit!!
(Will be drawing a name at random from the volunteers, FYI)
I'll have my character done by tomorrow (I promise.)

And by "like" I mean hang around his shop and ignore the fact that he doesn't want her bugging him until he'd grow accustomed of it enough to not mind xD
• previously ChildOfNowhere - they/them - literary fantasy with a fairytale flavour
XD that would be awesome, @ChildOfNowhere! Gideon would probably grudgingly accept that she isn't going away and gradually develop a platonic affection for her. Looking forward to seeing how the two interact!
