This is absolutely okay, guys. Take your time; we've plenty of it!
Just do tell me if you'll be unable to post for a round. It's important in a Hunger Games setting.
Speaking of the Games, after the reapings are done, we'll have one round for goodbyes, a round or two for the train journey and three rounds for all three days of training. This will require long posts.
Excuse you, I'm your friggin' queen!
Don't take it too hard when you lose to me, I always win.
Spoiler! :
August 1, 2015 - April 21, 2016: BlackCatXx April 21, 2016 -- Desdemona
Who will go next? If we are still in the reapings round, may I? I will have a CP posted for SkyeWalker as soon as we can talk about what she would like
@ChildOfWriting nice post! Just one thing, this the 25th Hunger Games, the 1st Quarter Quell. In these this Games, district members vote on who goes to the arena. And actually, adults do come along to the reaping, but are kept in separate areas from those eligible for the games.
Also, in the books it is specified, and I think (but I'm not sure) in the movies too, that all who are not on their deathbed are required to attend the reaping or they will face the death penalty. Just thought I'd tell you.
Are we going by that rule from the books @Desdemona?
In any case @ChildOfWriting you should probably at least change it according to the quarter Quell. Thanks for listening!
@LordZeus Duly noted I was up late last night and it totally skipped through my head. I've fixed the post
About the little run in with Caius' mother; that was all meant more as a glimpse into the dynamic between Caius and his parents. Of course he wouldn't actually be allowed to stay in his bed all day, and of course his mother would be attending, whether Caius wanted her to or not. I only wanted to try and convey the not-so-well-hidden tension between them.
