@Rydia, I have started on my profile (I shall be a teleporter...) Just one quick question: Since no one knows what caused the storm, can we say that this is taking place 7 years from the present year (the five weeks and everything still stay.)
Why? Well, I have been researching real disasters in Great Britain's history, and I've found a pattern. Roughly every 200 years, a large disaster has struck Britain, with the latest one being your magical storm. What if, each of these disasters had the same side effects as this one, which might lead us to who (or what) is behind these events (and maybe trying to stop future storms, etc)

I'm just trying to create a back story for this storm, so it is entirely up to you what you do with this idea. *runs off to work on profile*

I also have a question.

Being my fickle 14yr old self, I realized that the power I've chosen is basically the same as steroids. Seeing that I haven't posted yet (though I assure you I plan to soon.) I was wondering if I could edit my character power wise and appearance wise. Would that be okay?

Also, does the drawback/withdrawal symptoms have to be strictly physical? Would it be okay to focus the withdrawal on mental torment rather than bodily discomfort? (of course, there is a certain degree of physical pain involved)

@TheWanderingWizard I'm happy for the storm to take place seven years from now but I want this to be the first time it has resulted in people getting super powers as I want the confusion and turmoil to add to the drama.

Also, I have a question. In the SB itself, it was stated that the peeps with newly discovered powers suffered no radiation wounds. Does this mean that they do not have the radiation burns/have not been exposed to the radiation? Or does it mean that they are not exhibiting any symptoms of radiation sickness but still has the burns?
