If you can post soon, @Tortwag, that would be great! I leave to go on vacation the 1st to the 8th, and that means no posts from me. I'd like to get one up, therefore, before I leave. If not, that's okay.

Also, I haven't seen a post from @TheSilverFox in a loooong time.

@Charizard821 I'm about halfway through my post, Char, so definitely posting soon. And you've got a point! @TheSilverFox your good old Aegeas haven't appeared in a WHILE! Have you been occupied with school or something?

@Charizard821 Double-posting to tell you that my post is finished, but I'm publishing it tomorrow (mostly 'cause I need to make sure everythin' right, and I'm not talking just about the typos). Is it fine for you?

Spoiler! :
phpBB [media]

I see a ghost in a photograph
I feel that wave come up under me
I see myself in that other half
I feel that pain pull me underneath
I see the times that we'll never have
I hear the sighs of content we'd breathe
I feel the smile that I wish I had
But all these moments are projections of the past
Cuz a part of me died and a liveliness was lost when you passed
And a light in me dimmed as a certainty was slipping through my grasp
Now I'm picking up the pieces getting cut open by shards of broken glass
Well how long can this last
Missing is that purpose in my life but I can get it back

This isn't gone
I can get it back

I see no soul in the mirror
Only see signs of demise getting nearer
"Time heals wounds" is absurd as a theorem
But I can see above the sky's getting clearer
And though despair of things before will never leave
Although our past mistakes can never be retrieved
Way out in the distance is a vessel on the seas
And I'm a set a heading toward the sun, cuz I believe that I can get it back
All that hope and that joy
That trust and that care
Those dreams of a boy, I can get it back
All that love and that worth
That touch of a flare
That feel of the earth, I can get it back
That drive to extreme
That confidence to lead
That willingness to bleed, I will get it back
Reassembled when I'm done
Depression on the run as I come beating on these drums

This isn't gone
I can get it back

Battles with the mind and the timid stand off
Slightest bit of pain and those tender folk scoff
Choose the destination but that bridge must be crossed
Guess the bottom line is we're cut from different cloths
Borders they divide but I'm inclined to cut across
Reach the outer limits then I cut away my loss
Continue toward the goal in sight no matter what the cost
Emboldened by this chance, I'm not afraid to get lost
Cuz now I'm pushing forward and nobody dare oppose
Now I'm moving faster while that ticking clock slows
And now I'm climbing higher like the ground can't hold
So I don't plan on stopping when this summit plateaus
I'm that invasion of the body by the soul
Sickened from the cold but soon a certified whole
Never one to fight but I just hit it on the nose
It took my spirit, but I got it back, case closed.

@15253, my Flash Player is working again, so I browsed the DT for any videos anyone might have posted and to which I could not listen at the time. I came upon this post and realised you hadn't responded to it. *wants to know if I penned Ren's personality more or less accurately by hearing if the song fits*

That's all I needed to here.
Now I can publish it at last! Well, in a few minutes, that is.

EDIT: posted! A long one as usual, but hey at least the story's advancing. And thanks a ton for settin' me up, @Robusto!

You're most welcome @Tortwag.
I haven't heard from @Verser, @15253, and @TheSilverFox in a while. I'm going to let them get some stuff in before I carry things any further.
For the record, expect Sully to make an assassination attempt on Twinkiel. He knows too much.

@Robusto, @Charizard821, @Tortwag: Yes, I know I haven't created a post in a long time. However, at this point in the story, I'm not really sure what to do. I don't have anything planned for Aegeas, and whatever I do write will undoubtedly be a filler post, as Hunter has claimed the ability to write the next important part of my group's adventures.

*thinks*

....Okay, I have some ideas. Give me a few days and I'll probably be able to stitch together something. However, I can assure you that it will not be long.

...Let's see what I can do.

Inferno, Canto 27, l 61-66.

@Robusto Hah! Interesting. Let her try, then. I really like the word "attempt" in your phrase, because that's what it will be: an attempt. Nothing more. She's not ready to take this guy down any time soon.
^ That thing I just said? I should incorporate it in Twinkiel's dialogue at some point. Or you can do it when she tries to kill the guy!
And speakin' of Sully, was she portrayed well enough? That and (I'm too curious to find out, I'm sorry XD) how d'you find the Ballet of Mad Mad Bullets? 'Cause the music for that is definitely coming back XD Do add it as one of Twinkiel's-Related themes, if possible, please.

@TheSilverFox Welp, let's see what trick you have up your sleeve, then. We'll be waitin' for that post, even if it's a short filler.

I am double-posting because I just realized something of importance (for the story itself as much as for me)...

...Twinkiel's plan to create a bar and gather infos about the whereabouts of the Hive... That's completely useless now. Sully just led him STRAIGHT to the EXACT place he and his team neede to locate! @Robusto darn it man, your setup was so perfect it freakin' shortened the length of my plans for Cutthroat Pass! I mean, the bar is still needed, because they need some time to get a plan ready for when they'll actually be in the Hive, and Moskito's going to be REALLY USEFUL later on, now that we have him, but...
Wow, man. Thanks XD
That considerably speeds up the pace of pretty much everything.

Not technically. The exact location of the plate is still unknown. Sully and Alek never found it. Bust still, I'm glad to be of service.

@Robusto Yes, the place is sitll a huge labyrinth, so it's FAR from over (which is why the Last Exile bar is still going to happen), but it still speeds up at least one post. And it avoids lookinng for one of te entrances of the Hive, so yeah thanks again.

EDIT: She may not know it yet, but Sully also needs to try and assassinate Ariala and Fleedjio, 'cause they know just as much as Twinkiel, lol.
...He's just the one who shows off the most, is all.
