Nope. I'll eventually add an item to the vendors like an Amnesia Potion or something that'll allow you to rewrite your spellbook, but the twenty spells you learn leveling up follow you through to lv40 and beyond. But right now, we're lv2, learning lv2 spells. Keep that in mind when you're designing your spells and abilities. Build on them like you would in a game. You can even pre-plan so you can get excited about leveling. Work out balancing your character at Level 40 while we're just starting. It makes for a fun afternoon.

Alright, so life got a little hectic for a week or so.
I think the best continuation from this point is @BiscuitsBatchAvoy with Diana. Have her and Carteneau scout out his backyard to find a clue as to who just robbed them.
And also have Malek kicked back with a blunt all like Ah the fack well.
I think Elyn would be drinking tea and strategizing before having a clue. Of course, he'll be right.
Basically, we just need to slip into the next quest, which is retrieving the Spell Shard from the bandits.
Among the chaos, I imagine Bilear will be trailing us. He'll probably make a heroic entrance in the bandit's hideout in a moment of intensity. Plot it here.

And to @Verser or @15253, or whoever was named Awesomesauce in the pad...the class and spell system is a mix of WoW, Guild Wars 2, FINAL FANTASY XIV, and customized pieces from my own head.
The races are all bastardized versions of NPC races in different (video/tabletop) games and novels. The only major plot characteristic is that humans are extinct because screw humans.
