I think there should be a rule that after about a week and a half of no replies, someone should post a reply in his/her behalf killing the character off in a way that benefits the story.

No. Killing off charcters without the creator's permission is an absolute no. Just try to patch over where the other person left you hanging- make an explosion, get attacked, get a message, fall asleep, make them fall asleep- whatever- just figure out something to seperate you from the non-poster's character, and then try to continue on as normally as possible. Hm...I don't think i'd feel comfortable doing that. I don't really know how the King would react to anything from what i've read on Impaired's posts. Is there anyone here who thinks they can do it? If not then i'll post as the King.

well, if he has a profile for the king, then base it off of his personality. One must become the king.
