I'm posting one for yesterday (internet was cutting out yesterday; it's fixed now), but unless I write something else I'm not posting the one for today.

The second one imma keep playing with, 'cause it ain't quite right. The first there were literally ducks on the roof. We took pictures. *nods*

(also turkeys are vicious giant dinosaurs and you can't convince me otherwise. we also take pictures of them)

I'm debating that adjective in the last line. May change it, or just take it out entirely. Foreboding?

#17 is dangerously close to a chicken poem! :)

love the "california gothic" series you've got going on too - it's got that bitter ironic bite.
you should know i am a time traveler &
there is no season as achingly temporary as now
but i have promised to return

Who wants to become a writer? And why? Because it’s the answer to everything. It’s the streaming reason for living. To note, to pin down, to build up, to create, to be astonished at nothing, to cherish the oddities, to let nothing go down the drain, to make something, to make a great flower out of life, even if it’s a cactus.
— Enid Bagnold
