A city that's stuck in great pain,
amidst many who struggle,
there's those who still gain,
preying on those who stumble.

A party with lights glowing bright,
a beacon to the entire city,
as I stand here this night,
should this place remain pretty.

The hosts have kept the tyrant fed,
and rubbed it in our faces,
but do they deserve helpings of lead?
or to fall from their graces.

Whichever it may be tonight,
it will be the last of the lights,
tomorrow will be bright,
for those without their rights.

Its a long, long, long way down,
higher than birds have flown,
On this final eve I stand
looking down to the land.

It all seems at an end at last,
but how long will it last?
Will it go without a bump?
Or should I just jump?

Her statue stands tall and proud
this district was one rather loud
but now it stands silent

She ruled with a heart of gold
but now her body lies cold
and the district lies silent

The district may not have been perfect
but she kept it from going derelict
and now it's just silent.

I have ended the many a life
but for once my knife
doesn't feel silent.

A sheltered old manor
Beautiful and calm
But within lies greed

A protected manor
A surfeit of sweaty palms
Built up by their creed.

An abomination of a manor
The very opposite of calm
A house of greed.

A ship of many a dream
Running on sweat and steam
It brings in the nation’s life
Keeps us from major strife

A ship that lets us dream
Of moving beyond just steam
It keeps giving us life
To fight through this strife

A ship that has crushed dreams
Burned many under its steam
It has taken many a life
And caused great great strife

A ship that hides beneath a dream
Underneath a curtain of dense steam
It will continue to provide life
While causing much strife

The void
A palace deconstructed
Is it a raze?

The void
A palace restructured
Is it a raise?

The prison stands tall
Surrounded by many a wall
Within its tortured hall
Lies the one who answered the call

And now I enter this pall
Inside the great wall
Will I be tortured in this hall?
Or be saved by the call

He was never meant to be here
I was always meant to be here
He fought his way out to save his daughter
And I’m fighting my way in to save his daughter

Does the black eyed one care?
Was this what he wanted?
Does he enjoy watching us tear?
Is entertainment what he wanted?

Well now at the final moment
Through all the torment
I stand beside the great door
Let’s try not to end up beneath the floor.

I am an Empress
I must impress
From my hair
To if I play fair.

I can never lay bare
Well I will not fare
But before my love
I can be not a dove

She is my guide
They let me hide
Fae is my truth
My loving sooth

A long ride across the rails
Among the gauntlet of wails
This carriage houses the dead

In this time of plague
