i originally thought that i was just going to edit/format existing poems and make a few more, but i ended up making more than i thought. but since i didn't write some of the beginnings poems this month, i'm going to pump out some more. hence why i'm over 30 now
i've lived for a quarter century walking through life, barely alive i try to find purpose and meaning, and virtue still, i kneel to the questions we instill:
why are we here? why do we fear? what do we hold dear, year after year?
the answer is here i hear it loud and clear the answer, the answer do you want to know the answer?
...
you, it's you it's always been you you, it's you don't you see now too? you've entered the world and you have my word that it's you and me together we are free...
(hum)
everyday is a new adventure the risk, the thrill, the electrifying danger we chase happiness when we dreamt we were content still, i kneel to the questions we instill:
am I okay? should I go pray? how do we weigh, the suffering and dismay?
the answer is here i hear it loud and clear the answer, the answer do you want to know the answer?
...
you, it's you it's always been you you, it's you don't you see now too?
two pieces of a puzzle our picture gives us peace that it's you and me together we are free...
(hum)
you, it's you it's always been you you, and me together we are free we can walk through this life living, and alive
the answer, the answer the one who holds the answer is you
