open the window and let in the light. a cool breeze fills the room and soon, it will bring in the fresh rain that falls from the sky. the sun shines bright as clouds let down their tears.
it feels nice. stand too close and you'll be drenched, lick the water off of your arms, blink the drops from your lashes. stand too far and you'll miss the sounds of the soft lapping as the rain dances on the roof and slides down the gutter. don't forget to trace the path of the water drop as it goes down; like fingers to a map, find your way home.
stand in the middle, tilt your head back. feel the wind touch your face, caress your lips. close enough to taste, far enough to breathe. just right.
