2. Sihaya, in truth, if you still take my lips to be true. we were the ones that drowned ourself. inside us, autumn lived on, unturned in a state of perpetual animation. here, we rise and here, we fall. listen, hear. beloved, our spines heave with the burden that is love.
*name taken from Dune, meaning desert's spring.

'And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.' ― Friedrich Nietzsche
I feel when I read these poems, in a serene, zen-like environment just appreciating the simplicity in the short bite-sizeness of the pieces, but also the beauty in them.
let's break bread, hold my hand please. let the warmth remain for just a while longer, just a while longer until the sun sets.
until it dips below the horizon full of sweet longing, love, this is my heart and the silences that bloom, aerated, unspoken are the pockets of words i hand to you.
i want you to feel the warmth there, yet i have held it the furthest from my heart.
