We make five grand from the few houses we have been to and the last dress was going to be sold to the dutchess. The three of us go up to the door and I knock. A girl about my age answers the door and I can was about to burst out laughing when I say her. She wore a huge dress and her hair was huge. Her face was painted with make up, making her look like a scary barbie. I bite my lip to keep from laughter.
"Oh, hello." She says. Her voice is filled with rudeness and I am not a fan of it at all. As horrible as it sounds, I am just here for the money. "Why don't you come in?" She says opening the door so wide.
"Thank you." Edward says.
"Is there something you need? Judging by your apperance Princess, you are here on a causual note." She says. This is me dressing up. I am in a dress, so yes I feel pretty dressed up. Not compared to her though.
"Yes, it is. Seeing as you love nice things, we have something for you." Logan says.
"A gift?" She asks.
"No." I say. Edward shows her the dress and she gasps.
"That is Lia's work." She says. "I know it anywhere. Is this an original?" She asks.
I nod. "Yes, not another like it." I tell her. "It is a grand."
"Oh, that's nothing." She says. She writes a check and hands it to me. I stare at it for a moment. People just have this money, it makes me a little sick. Then again, I am a princess. "I have somehing the princess does not, wow."
"Thank you very much." I tell her.
"How was your wedding?" She asks. "I would not know, I was not invited. You have the poor." She scoffs.
"It was wonderful. I could not ask for anything better. I would not want it any other way." I tell her, raising my eye brows.
"The way you went against our history when you just got here." She rants on. "It is so shameful that someone like you has this crown." She say.
He husband comes in. "Honey, stop. You have no right to talk like that." He says.
I get a firm grip on Logan's hand, trying not to be as rude as her.
