Ky curled into a little ball, looking around fearfully.
Jerica had paused behind a tree and was peering out at them from the shadows. She wasn’t sure what was going on. It was too dark. She stayed silent trying to figure it out.

After a moment he rose and stumped into the woods in Jerica's direction.

Jerica tensed and looked past him, trying to tell if Ky was okay. She was still curled up staring in scared silence.
“Ky?” Jerica called, deciding her position was already blown and staying tense and ready if the brute attacked her again.
Ky blinked. “…Jer?”

Rönn stopped in his tracks, then huffed angrily. "You."

“Ky are you okay?” Jerica asked, straightening her back.
“I’m fine.” Ky stood up. “What are you doing out here?”
“What am I doing?” Jerica scoffed. “What are you doing?”

Rönn kept himself between them, fur bristling up. "Hrmph. Why you follow?"

“She’s been gone a really long time,” Jerica said, drawing herself up and giving him a dirty look. “I had to make sure she wasn’t getting murdered by a feral goat.”
“Jerica!” Ky chided, embarrassed on their behalf.

"I never kill her," he growled. "I make exception for her."

“I do,” Ky cut in, shuffling forward. “I trust both of you. Please don’t fight.”

"She stalking," Rönn retorted. "Why you trust her when she sneak around like this?"

“She was just making sure that I’m safe,” Ky said, trying to placate him. “I’ve been gone from the tent quite a while at this point.” She glanced at Jerica. “…and now that you see that I am safe you’re going to put away your sword, right?”
Jerica hesitated, sending another dirty glance at Rönn before glancing back at Ky and reluctantly sliding her sword back in its sheath. She muttered something unintelligible, not sure how to respond.

Rönn curled his lip at her and turned away. "Right. I keep you from sleep; you go to bed, Ky."

Ky hesitated, then sighed and nodded. “Okay… good night.” She didn’t want the night to end like this, but also, she didn’t foresee a conversation involving both of them going well.
