“Have you ever heard of consent?” Logan said.

“Yes, yes, I have… look, I’m sorry, ok? I was dazed, and I just- …ok this sounds really stupid now that I say it. Sorry.” Remus sighed. Logan didn’t seem like he was gonna kill him, and that was fine. Now, he could just live, and… well, continue being alone.

Logan watched him, for some reason trusting what he was saying. “It is a pretty stupid excuse,” Logan agreed.

"Yeah... so uh.. you can get out, if you don't trust me. I don't care." Remus shrugged. Humans hated him, but hey, that was life.

Logan glanced at the door, feeling a bit rejected. He didn’t exactly have somewhere else to go, but he clearly didn’t want him here. “Alright, I’ll go I guess…”

Remus paused. He noticed the look on his face, the tone of voice. What..? "...Are, uh... are you sure..? You sounded... I dunno, kind of upset...?"

“I— no, I’m fine,” he muttered.

"M'kay.. just, y'know. Wouldn't object if a cutie like you decided to stay." Remus smirked and chuckled. "Naaah, just joking. ...Unless~"

Logan raised his eyebrows, blushing slightly. “Uh…” he wasn’t sure what to say.

Remus laughed. “Sorry sorry- just thought I’d mess with you a little bit. Y’know, before you decide to leave and all.”

Logan blinked, not sure what to do. “Alright…” he said slowly.

"..." Remus and Logan just stood there for a second. "...Are you staying, or..?"

“I…” he paused and looked at him. “I don’t have anywhere else to be…”

Remus paused, clearly surprised. “…you’re.. staying..? Like- really?? I mean- I have a room, it’s not the best, but… it’s kinda cozy?” Was he lonely? Yeah, probably.

“I mean— I won’t stay if you don’t— want me to—“ he stuttered.
