In a world of guardian angels, there weren’t always enough for everyone who got one. That’s why Remy had been chosen to become a guardian. One little thing, though; he was a demon. Great, stuck looking after some guy. Oh boy...

Remy spat out some dirt as he got up from where he had fallen. In his person’s yard. He watched as the guy came out.

Virgil came outside to take a breath from all the noise coming from his house as he saw someone in the yard, he was quite confused and didn’t care or tried not to care about the person in his front yard as he drinks his coffee. He just stood there, looking at the person laying on the yard.

Remy blinked up at the other, dusting himself off.

“Uhh... hey. I’m your guardian. You’re Virgil, right?”

“My guardian...I don’t want one nor need one, and I’m Virgil...” Did he hit his head to hard, Virgil thinks to himself “Go back where you came from?” Virgil started to walk back inside.

He thought for a moment.

“...Well, that kinda sucks, because you’re stuck with me.”

Virgil turns around, starting at him

“Protect me...” Virgil laughs “I don’t need protection; I can manage on my own.” Virgil headed inside of his house, hoping the person in his front yard will leave, so he can relax without worrying about there’s a person in his yard. Should I call the police, Virgil thought. Staring at the phone on the table, Should I? Did this person come from a mental hospital and escaped because he’s saying my guardian...Virgil continues to think

Remy groaned. God, this guy was annoying. He decided to follow him.

“Have you seriously never heard of a guardian angel? They’re kind of everywhere...”

“No and don’t care.” Virgil walks to the living room and turn off the television “Does it looks like I care?” Virgil rolls his eyes “Please go away!” Virgil falls on to the couch

“...Jeez, is this place a rock or what? Cuz you act like you’ve been living under a rock... whatever. Some people get a guardian angel to protect them throughout their life. Ask someone, they’ll tell you.”

“Yeah... Something like that, I never go outside unless I have too..” Virgil sat up on the couch “Okay, look. I don’t need you, I'm perfectly fine without you. So, go away and let me be.” Virgil looks at the person “What’s your name anyways?” Virgil just sat there, wishing that he never woke up from that dream of his..
