Just in time for Christmas, I've finished up YWS Gifts! You can now give and receive gifts using your points. Just head on over to My YWS, and once there, click on the Gifts tab. Everything is pretty much self-explanatory, but if you have any questions, let me know here. And if you uncover a bug, let me know here.

By the way, before I even announced this new feature, over 140 gifts had already been given out! To keep the variety going, I'll add new gifts periodically as well as get rid of old ones (don't worry; any gifts you receive will forever remain yours!). All the icons for the gifts come from:

Additionally, gifts are displayed in a user's profile. To view gifts you or someone else has received, just go to their profile and you'll see a link to "Gifts" on the left hand side. From there, you can also give them a gift.

At the moment, I only see one problem with this.

Just added eight more for a total of 40 gifts now. There's two now that cost only 25 points (a heart and a star), and three more that cost only 50 points (three smiley faces).

I'm going to keep the number of total gifts at 40. However, I'll be rotating them in and out over time. That way, it makes gifts feel a bit more special if they're only available for a limited time.

By the way, since going into effect, 295 gifts have been given out! And this new feature isn't even 24 hours old yet.

Just got rid of some of the Christmas theme gifts: candy-cane, candles, and wrapped present. Also got rid of the Saturn gift and the Sheriff gift since those weren't too popular. I've replaced them with: a cake gift, a cupcake gift, a donut gift, balloons, and a blue creature with six arms.
