2) You are right, Sam. I just don't think it's right to get right of something just because it's potentially dangerous.

Potentially dangerous is one thing, but something happened which made it turn from potential to real. Like Nate said, it's on a need to know basis only, so you can't know the exact details, but there is a really really good reason behind this. It's not just reactionary.

And yeah... it sucks. But we'll survive.

Can't wait for the radio show. :)

Bummer!

I'm sad the chat had to get shut down, but from what I've read something really REALLY serious must have happened.

So as bummed as I am, I'm grateful. Nate wouldn't have shut it down if something didn't happen.

There's only one request I make with the whole situation

Please take the box away!
I just lost the game.

Yeah, this is pretty disappointing.

But, at the same time, it's really comforting to know that Nate is taking that much cation just to keep the members of YWS safe.

For those of you arguing - remember that he doesn't have to do that. You aren't being very appreciative to the fact that Nate controls this site, and that if he really wanted to, he could just get rid of it.

Although, I'm very hopeful that he would never do that.

Funny though...YWS was the only chat I would use because every other chatroom I'd ever see was so...scary. Everything seemed like a possible threat and whatnot. It's frightening to find out that something happened in the one chat I considered safe.

I second Alice's request to remove the box. [unless that would be a problem or something].

Nate, thank you very much for being so concerned for our well being. Even though I don't know you personally, I hold you in high respect for that.

I'm not trying to stir things up, but I clearly said there was no arguing going on. I just said I didn't agree with it. I know that he has the final say, but I still can disagree if I want to do so. >:(

I know you can Mantis, but it does seem like some people posting on this thread aren't just disagreeing. They're disagreeing in an agrivated way, as if they're attempting to argue with someone who does have the final say.

I say no names, but I mean no offense either.

Don't be :( please?

Meh. It's not worth bothering with anymore. Chat is gone. Nothing to do but move on.

Yes, lets move on. And remember that "I'm annoyed and want to express it," does not always mean, "I want to start a debate."

*falls over laughing* Oh, gosh. Lupe, those are so hiliarious. And for the last one, we need to persuade Nate to put it for his avatar. I think he would love it, if he likes that kind of thing...

And just letting you know, I skipped Stage Five. But I spent too long on Shock and Denial. ;)
