A caveat: If your username has a space in it, this will not work!

For everyone else... you now have your own subdomain at YWS!

Just type in:

http://YOURNAME.youngwriterssociety.com

So for me, that'd be:

http://Nate.youngwriterssociety.com

It automatically redirects to your profile. Very soon, your latest blog posts will be displayed in your profile so this should be very helpful for sharing with friends.

Also, profile/YOURNAME as well as memberYOURMEMBERNUMBER.html still work as well.

It won't work for me...will there be an equivalent like %20 for space users? Part of the safe URL coding. %20 being the safe representation of a single space.

http://kenpachi%20masamune.youngwriterssociety.com/ doesn't work for me

Member number is, er... well, Nate is 2, I'm 83... it's like, you were the ____ person to register! And that's unique to you, and how your profile is tracked. Or something like that.

Thanks, Nate! And this one is actually real, and works, and doesn't redirect you to a picture of a monkey!

There are those who say that life is like a book, with chapters for each event in your life and a limited number of pages on which you can spend your time. But I prefer to think that a book is like a life, particularly a good one, which is well to worth staying up all night to finish.
