If you're using the default template, then you've noticed some changes in the navigation bar at the top of the page.

The "Forums" button has been changed to "Community."

A "Writing" button has been added with quick links to "Read & Review" and "Submit Something."

Clicking the "Community" button will automatically take you to the community forums. The "Writing" button will automatically take you to the literature forums.

Hopefully, this will lessen confusion for new members, and the "Submit Something" link should make the process of posting a new story/poem a lot easier.

Oh, and you should also notice everything is wider too.

The submission page looks really nice, "What would you like to submit today?"

I think this will help the confusion with how to get around the site. I know when I first came, it was impossible for me to find the literary forums, it didn't make sense. This set up is a lot nicer.

All the changes almost make me want to switch back to default just to play around...almost.

:) Thanks Nate!

I like it better too. The writing forums were harder to find for me when I was new, and it seemed weird to have them separate but on the same menu as the community forums. Thanks!

Very nice! I likes it! Although, the submission page should have rules or a link the the rules about critiquing before adding on it. I can see new members going straight to that page and not even have the chance to know that we have rules about posting.

The forum button is still called Forums, though :P

Also, Perra has a point.

Agree with Perra--that page should have a rules link or short blurb.

Naw, I like it better the old way! Though I do like that it's all wider now. :D

In the future, when one person makes a suggestion, it is generally not helpful for others then to continually echo that suggestion.

Perra ->> Thanks for pointing that out! I have since added a rules link for the submission page.

Matt ->> If you refresh the page, it will say "Community."
