If I can chat in the chat, I'm good with it.

Therefore, I'm good with the chat.

The chat takes about 11 tries to get into and load properly, I tried on both google chrome(I got it to work) and IE. Both failed.

Ps, I thought I got banned again...But I made it back into it.

That's odd Eddie. Does it just hang up on your or stop loading, or what?

Anyways, a few people are reporting lag, but as it turns out, some of those people didn't know what lag really was. So if people who remember using this chat before could comment on any lag they've been experiencing or site slow-down, it'd be appreciated. Again, that's people who remember using this chat before. That does not count people who have not used this chat before.

There was lag in the sense that there'd be a heartbeat between the time you hit enter and the message actually appearing, but that's nothing to what it used to be. And even that's not constant. I only really experienced that when my net started running slow. So, it's there, but not enough to matter.

I was just in chat with 16 people and it was running like a charm. Not a bit of lag anywhere. I don't recall that being the norm with this chat before. As far as lag is concerned, they've come a long way.

It seemed to work fine when I had it. The only problems with lag I had lately were with my ISP and all internet sites were affected.

I can't seem to log onto chat. The first day (I think) of the recent change, I hit "enter chat room" on the YWS homepage and it took me straight into a room. I haven't been in since.

Now, the chat is asking for me to log in and I'm not sure how to do that. It doesn't accept my YWS username, so how I do I get in?

I've not had any serious lag at all.

I remember when lag was you thought the chat had gone silent, then BAM! twenty lines of text pop up and you're okay again for a few minutes. Good times. I've not had anything like that at all. In fact, I've barely had the heartbeat lag.

I've had troubles getting in but that, I believe, was due to my computer freezing, which left my ghost in chat while I re-set and stuff.

New old chat is cool in my book.

I've experienced minor lag but nothing on the scale of what chat used to produce and it's infrequent. Old chat is working out pretty well.

Most lag I've experienced is a breath before a line I've submitted shows up. I think I've had maybe two lines show up unexpectedly, and it wasn't after a long pause.

Wasn't sure where to put this, but chat just kicked a few people out:

[TayoGabriel10] 10:20 pm: the chronicles of riddick
[ScarlettFire] 10:20 pm: Pitch Black.
[The Lounge]: AquaMarine has left at 10:20 pm
[The Lounge]: TheNewHero has left at 10:20 pm
[The Lounge]: thefireinmeisJC has left at 10:20 pm
[The Lounge]: Kyousuke has left at 10:20 pm
[The Lounge]: Darkness has left at 10:20 pm
[The Lounge]: Vasticity has left at 10:20 pm
[Matt Bellamy] 10:21 pm: Woah

Or at least I think it did - it would be a bit of a coincidence if all of those people left at exactly the same time.
Matt.

Actually, I have to say I like the default background
in the old chat better. Even if the blue makes some colors harder
to see.

Go to Options, and under "text" you can make everybody's font colour your own, so it's nice and easy to see, and I believe in "effects" you can change the background colour.
