Have you ever written up a long review only to hit submit and be told 'You are not logged in'? Then when you go back, your entire review is gone? Or have you ever written up a poem or story in the textbox (something you should never do by the way), then suffered a browser crash and lost the entire thing? Or have you ever written a post, only to lose power mid-way and thus your entire post as well? Well... YWS now has automatic post recovery: a revolutionary new technology that saves your post as you type regardless of whether or not YWS has accidentally logged you out, your browser crashes, or you have lost power. How does it work? It's magic and you don't need to do a single thing. As you type your post, our patented marauding monkeys with the power of atomic energy save your post. Then if for some reason your browser crashes (or something else horrible), then just go back to the posting form where you were typing your post. It'll show up as if you never skipped a beat. Go ahead, try it! Start typing in the quick reply box below, then without submitting, go somewhere else on the site. Or even off-site. Or even shut off your browser and/or computer. Then later on (minutes, days, years), come back to that same quick reply form that you were typing in. As if by magic, your post will still be there waiting for you to finish up. Cool, no? This works for new topics, and for the "post reply" page as well. Go ahead, test! A few caveats: 1. It only saves the message. Not the title, description, attachments, or rating. 2. This only works with topics and posts. It does not work with private messages. Although if there is demand for that, it can be extended to include PMs. 3. The marauding monkeys are being treated humanely. Please ignore their class action lawsuit against me in regards to radiation poisoning.
