Nate Needs Your Help!

As many of you know, YWS isn't free. Nate pays for the server every month, out of pocket. Things aren't always easy for Nate though. There is a way for you to help though, without having to send money (although we don't discourage this at all ).

This way is very simple: just click the ads. The site costs $40 a month to run. 14 clicks earned the site $3.89.

By some rough calculations, this is 27 cents per click. To cover the cost of the site per month, we need to have 148 clicks per month. So, if you are just logging on, click an ad. If your switching between forums, click an ad. Staring off into space? Click an ad. Waiting for something important? Click an ad.

Every click keeps the site up. This site provides a service to young authors that many editors would charge for. The least you can do is click a little ad.

So, spread the word, and get clicking!

One note though, please click an ad only ONCE per week, and certainly no more than twice. I say this because google will discount your clicks if you click too much. It's happened to me; I use to click every day, but google caught on and now my clicks mean nothing. Which stinks 'cause I've actually got stuff based on the ads before.

I click once a week but sometimes forget, will have to remind myself somehow.

The Hunger Site send out email reminders to get people to click their sponsor ads...seems like a good idea.
