You were always there when I needed you,
But never near when I needed you to hold me,
You were there to teach me to be me,
And I appreciate that.

Though you may be gone for long periods of time,
I always remember you are here in my mind,
Though at times we have our thick and our thin,
We always find a new place to begin,
We have our ups and our downs but never do forget,
The days we spent so funny and ignorant.

You bathed me when I was born,
And even cut my cord,
Now you take me lots of places,
That we can afford.

I love you Dad,
And I know you love me,
Even though were apart,
I know whatever happens you will still be in my heart.

This was a very sweet poem to him and if you ask Shadow Knight he'll probably ask why I was crying and you can tell him it was because I read this. You're dad sounds like the ultimate dad. Mine on the other hand... well, he has a few kinks that I need to work out.
You have very good potential. I am envious of you yet again. But great work. I hope you showed this to your dad. I bet he would like to see this.
