See the mothers in the park
Ugly creatures chiefly
Someone must have loved them once
But in the dark and briefly.

By Jack Lurk

I'm pretty sure Jack Lurk is a pseudonym for my mom, lol. When my mom and dad dated, my dad said he was hounded by Jack Lurk, a disgruntled employee, who somehow, instead of being the intelligence (Dad said Jack was never intelligent) he ended up being the counterintelligence and somehow compromised the USA since my dad is "really" a secret agent. Yeah...

Anyway, Mom gave me permission to use this poem.
Ubi caritas est vera, Deus ibi est.

"The mark of your ignorance is the depth of your belief in injustice and tragedy. What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the Master calls the butterfly." ~ Richard Bach

Cool poem, even cooler story behind it.

Interesting concept though...moms=ugly creatures? :P
