Look, up in the sky!
The aliens are coming.
They will rule the world.

What kind of aliens are they? XD
What do you think they look like?

I though I might as well tell you all the story behind this particular haiku.
I was riding home on the bus and I saw this guy who had a patch on the back of his jacket that looked like a old si-fi movie poster and I just had to write a haiku about it!

Very light-hearted. I like it!

This is light-hearted and cute. What I particularly like about it is that it is a good haiku in the sense that it takes a moment in time, a scene, and just tells it. It doesn't say what the writer is thinking or feeling, there are just facts. The person could be scared, excited, worried or even happy - the poem doesn't give that away and it adds a sense of mystery to the poem. I love that I can get so much out of such a short poem, and that someone has written a haiku that I can actually write a 500+ character review about! So well done.
