This is basically my catch-all book of poetry, where any themes are happenstance.

Feeling You

Sitting on the rooftop
........shoulder to shoulder
Candle lit on the dresser
........to match your scent
Every clear night
........with starlight in your eyes
Starlings out here bickering
........just like they did last spring

I misplace mosaic pieces
like puzzle pieces
like heart-broken bits.

I misplace the gaps they fill,
leaving silhouettes behind,
which are nothing more than broken spaces,

blank spaces
that need filling in my mind.
But I misplace the mosaic pieces

that you click to my glass heart,
hoping maybe that these broken pieces
will hold so I don't fall apart.
she/her/they
acethetic and paronoid
*waves leafy fronds*
