So the Plot as is atm:

Eons ago, Mages fought a great threat to their world. In an accident that sent the vile demons away, they brought to their world: humanity. In obligation of their mistakes, they teach the new species their way of living. Of their Spirit Mother who resides in their planet, and of the multitude of god/dess that the Mage across the planet pray to and devote. To preserve balance. To always return what they use and take. However, humanity did not heed the Mages warnings. As the Spirit Mother began to give magic to the humans, dying out the mage born as less and less of their children were born with the magic.

One seer, having seen the destruction of the their way of life and of the planet, shares the dire warning with mages across the globe. Mages then sealed magic to their blood, preventing their lines dying out and keep magic from the hands of humanity. However, the last of the human born mages, Huizen, falls into his family's mental illness. In envy and spite of the mage born, he sets out to take back magic he believes belongs to humanity. Starting with this, he slaughters his fellow disciple's family, leaving only 13 children alive as they escaped into their Goddess's Temple.

200 years to present day, in present day Hiroka, Kaida Tsukiyoma is turning 16. She awakens the old soul residing within herself and finds herself torn between her fears and her resolution to remove Huizen before he can take away from her the family she's regained in this new life.
