Its funny as heck if you get the references to wargaming.
Still funny if you dont!
You shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, instead, you should read every single book to see what every book is about before you even come close to judging its viability.

*sniggers* Here, let me help you out:

Pawn: 1 point
Knight: 2.5-3 points
Bishop: 3 points
Rook: 5 points, no wargear included
Queen: 9 points
King: priceless (sometimes considered 2.5 points)

I enjoyed both sides of amusement; nice catch Sponson Light.

Can I give wargear to my Bishop? I want to upgrade him into Heavy Armor and have him riding a Barded warhorse! Think of the Conversion Opportunities!

How dare you infidels?! Thats THE mother of all board games! This is soo predictable its almost scary. So everything must be refined, painted, bla bla bla bla just to make it more fun? sheesh...its like saying that you can learn a lot more in a comic than the good ol bible. And, im NOT being sarcastic about it.
Without sensibility no object would be given to us, without understanding no object would be thought. Thoughts without content are empty, intuitions without concepts are blind.
