You are not going to believe this...but:

On the way home from TAFE this afternoon, mum told me that someone from the Transcultural Mental Health Center rang up, and said that I had not won first prize, but I am just getting an 'encouragment' award, biut still $500!!! I can NOT belive that they could make such a mistake, and then not let us know until the day before we leave!!!!!!!!!! I am really upset. They had a week to let us know. How can you make a mistake like that!!!!!!!!!! :? :(  :x  :!: :!: Anyway, so we have to fly down anyway, because the plane tickets are booked. We'll just have a nice day in Sydney. If we had known earlier, we wouldn't have gone down!!! I could have finished my TAFE and everything!!! Now everyone thinks I won first.... *sigh*

Well, I just thought I'd better let you all know....but mum and I are really shocked, and we can't work out why they suddenly realise so late!!!!!

They shouldn't have waited so long. I don't know exactly the story behind this, but from what i can see it was unfair for them to wait so long.

A vapour sometimes like a bear or lion,
A towered citadel, a pendant rock,
A forked mountain, or blue promontory,
With trees upon't that nod unto the world,And mock our eyes with air.."

Thanks everyone :D
I had a good day in Sydney, and I'm not letting the dissapointment get to me too much.

My story is in 'Non-fiction' if you want to read it....
