Mine would be to type. Firstly because I can type as fast as I think and secondly my hand gets way too sore when I try and write by hand. :smt024

Yeah typing is my fave way too. Saves time in more than one way because although you might write it out nicely on paper, you then have to type it up to put it on YWS! lol

Nowadays I type them, but I used to write them by hand.

But I mostly write my poetry by hand, because I just can't do it typing. :P

Typing. I can't write more than a few words before my hand gets sore.

Ditto for typing. My mind works way too fast to write my ideas down by hand.

My spelling does out the window as soon as I start writing things by hand. Especially if I'm getting into the story.

Poems are by hand though. They require just enough time to compose in my head that I can actually write coherent thoughts! xD

I try to write all my stuff out by hand first, especially my poems. This might sound lame but I get a better connection to the story and the characters. But when I write them out on paper I have to write in pen, I guess to make it final. But typing them definitely make things neater...

I write down my stuff first, because I have no one ever bugging me to "Get off" of my notebook.

I write most of my stories and poetry by hand. I just prefer doing it that way because that's how I began writing, but nowadays I also type them up on the computer after hand-writing them. I can go back and edit things when they're on paper, too, and usually that's easier for me because I can devote my time to one thing, which is that piece of paper, instead of getting distracted on the computer.

I prefer to write everything by hand, and it always has to be in a notebook. The feeling of an empty piece of paper in a notebook makes me want to fill it up, so I get a lot done that way (in pencil) then I type it up on the computer. Sadly, I am faster in handwriting then typing ( I must get better at typing before High School....) so I created this habit of writing in notebooks all the time.
Building worlds and daydreaming about them is MY favorite thing to do...... :)

Well, it really depends. I like typing because I can write several rewrites of my story without anything getting too messy. Other times I just like writing by hand.

Typing all the way! I can type pretty fast. And that way I can get all my ideas down without getting a hand cramp ...

I'm just about the same as Demeter. It's mostly typing for me unless I'm doing poetry.

Oh, but did you really think so?

And as for how far this tale will go…
Well, even the cat doesn’t know.

Definitely Typing. If you do it by hand, your hand gets sore and such, and your wasting paper and not being very environmentally conscious. If you want to make edits, you have to write the whole thing over again. If you eventually think of publishing and such, you have to type up your whole long story. L_L
