It's not completely done yet as I still need to integrate it with YWS, but click here to test out the new chat. When you click on it, you'll be asked to log in. Just use your YWS data.

Unfortunately, there will be no auto login with this, which will probably be just fine.

Wow.
I just tried it out, and although there was no one on it was pretty darn awesome! I love the new style. Will we be able to chat with members on without the chat scheduling a chat? This is pretty cool, Nate. Love it!

Ooh, this is interesting! Definitely different ^^ Though I think I'll miss my nice shiny red "A" in the chat ;) But I do like how easy it is so far to navigate. [s]Since there's no one in there with me, I'll ask! Can you PM via this chat? [/s] Yes! Meep appeared, and we tested it!

*thinks* Since we can simply log in with our usernames and password...
Does that mean the chat's going to constantly be open?

Ooh, even the loading screen looks nice and shiny. I like it already!

And now, the chat seems really good. The new buttons are easy to find, and the new features are really cool. I loved fooling around with the backgrounds. Everything's so fun. I love the new chat!
There once was a cat.
He wasn’t particularly fat.
Fuzzy was his favorite mat.
And really, that was that.

Oh, but did you really think so?
Keep reading, it’s just the start of the show!
And as for how far this tale will go…
Well, even the cat doesn’t know.

Because you really enjoy being harassed by puritans?

I love the new chat! It has some weird functions that I don't like, but that can't be helped. Overall, it looks real nice.

(weird functions = preset messages like, "What's your asl?" XD)

Thanks everyone. I plan on finishing everything tonight. What's left is figuring out how to get it to say who's in the chat without actually going in, and how to set up moderators.

The new chat may be open 24/7. What I want to do is take Overeasy's suggestion and make a lot of chat moderators. People who aren't really active around the site, but are in the chat often enough and know what the rules are.

Of course, the biggest benefit is that the new chat can have up to 50 users with no slow-down.

The chat is great! I love how the backgrounds are animated and the noises you can put out, Also. I like all the different styles of writing you can have, too.

Thanks, Nate.

I think the best thing about making it into the quote generator is when nobody tells you, so one day you're just scrolling and voila, some phenomenally inane thing that crawled out of your dying synapses and immediately regretted being born the second it made contact with the air has been archived for all time. Or worse, a remark of only average inanity. Never tell me when you've put me in the generator. Pride-tinged regret just doesn't taste the same without the spice of surprise.
