So guess what, folks:

The Instructors were distraught.

Horrified.

Furious.

The Greeters showed them up in their first great battle of the ultimate war. For all those years of dominating the forums, they never believed the Blues could trample them like that.

Well, of course, it was just a fluke.

After two months, the Purps gained new members -- new strength, strategies, and vocabulary. Invading the Greeter's childish forum, they mocked the Blues and their friendly hello's until the Blues were forced to challenge them to another epic duel.

Duh-duh-duh-duh-d-d-d-d-duel!

They would switch jobs, the strong-willed Greeters suggested. The Purps can be Greeters for a week, and the Blues can be Instructors for a week. May the better team win.

The epic Purps were all, That's why we're here. Duh.

And the March Battle of the Purp vs Blue War began.


From March 1st to March 8th, the Instructors and Greeters were challenged to switch jobs. That is, the Greeters would critique, and the Instructors would welcome new members. Sounds intense, right? Probably not, but it was for them!

This time no mods were elected to assist the teams. They were on their own this time around. Two months after their first battle, new members joined their ranks. New minds and words worked together to fight another battle, and Jabber God knows when that would be.

And now, with the war over, the results are here! It was extremely close -- close to the point that we had to recount a few numbers and heavily discuss the outcome. In the end, we (judges being Kitty15, Cat_910, and JabberHut) decided on the proper results. The moment you all have been waiting for! (Or some of you!) With, of course, the top three leading team members.

Since I am neither blue or purple, I will just say that Purps are still way cooler and awesomer than Blues. Plus it was only four points. Good job though!

I'm neither blue nor purple, and I didn't really follow it much, but I picked up a few things from posts.

Congratulations to both Purps and Blues - I think you both did an awesome job and you're all great :D
You guys all went insane, and I'll never forget how the Purpes left the chat yesterday to attack-greet a newbie, haha.
