I know I do. My family does it all the time: names for cars, computers, sometimes a nickname for a favorite place. Do any of you do that?

I named my mom's car Renata. She's fierce.

I named my headset, well me and a friend. We had some school project that included the use of a mic. and we one day started calling it 'The Universal Mic. Of Brotherhood'
I think we named the computer mouse too, 'Mr. Clicky'

The family car is Christine. My brother's car is Susan. That's right. He rides Susan.
My hair's name is Fritz; my brother's hair is Sally. My school locker's called Baby. As in, "C'mon, Baby, please work already... :*frantic lock combination*:"

I do all the time. My diary's name is Kiki and my bedroom is called "The Lair" because it is always soo messy!

My family and I name the tractors, trucks... The very old tractor is called "Grandpa" the smaller and younger tractor is "Little Brother" and the other one has a name but I can't spell it. I think it's Polish. And our SUPER old truck is called the "Green Bomb" or the "Hulk"

And this is jsut a family joke but we sometimes call our farm the "Good Nuf Ranch"

We named our GPS direction thingy "Mildred" because it sounds like an English name and the thingy has an accent.

We named my dad's car "Dora". Why? It's an explorer.

We named our Roomba robot vaccum cleaner "Rosey", like from The Jetsons (I think they were called)

We name tons of things, the cars included.

no... not really. I never saw the point!

My iPod's name is Rufus the Uproarious and my laptop's name is Felix.

My car's name is Norman, and my iPod's name is George. Oh, and my bass's name is Jess.

The vacuum is called Henry, my tree (small, in my room, have no idea what kind it is) is called Jim , my bass is Bob and my guitar is Dot, my laptop is Ed/Eric/Edward/Edwin/Emmit what ever in am in the mood for, and my radio is called Joe (named after my first crush, in was into music >.<)

My computer- Hermes
My BlackBerry (given to me by my mom, since she got a new one)- Eris
My plushie of an unidentifiable humanoid- Hades

I wuv Greek Mythology.

I've never understood this We tried naming my mum's car once but it just sounded so ridiculous. In fact, I've forgotten the name now.
