My main fears have to do with people:
-crowds
-being alone in a public place
-ordering my own food
[s]-raising my hand in class[/s]
[s]-getting up in class[/s]
-not knowing where my seat is in class/lunch
-embarrassing myself
-talking to new people
-presenting or just getting up to introduce myself to the class
[s]-sometimes walking down to the bus stop by myself[/s]
-calling anyone other than my best friend, family, or my friend's cell phones

You've just basically summarized my fears. O_O Just add "school dances" and "the opposite sex" to the list.

Aww, poor Sumi. I love school dances. No one ever asks me. I'm too ugly (I know. I'm hard on myself. Its true though. These days if you don't look half-plastic boys don't like you) So anyways, I love school dances because I plot to get a guy to dance with one of my friends. So far its worked out.

The opposit sex? Yes, they are scary, aren't they. If a boy is cute, and he talks to me, I can barely look up. Add that to my list of fears.

Pretty, Intelligent, Talented Girls.

Insecurity and attraction are bound to ensue. Attraction is terrifying, mainly because it gets me no where and means I can't be friends with said pretty, intelligent, talented girls. ¬_¬

Water.

If it's anywhere above my chest I will have a panic attack. I can't swim, and have nearly drowned twice trying to learn. Put me off for life.

Rejection.

A pretty obvious one. Who wants to be told they're not good enough?

Acceptance.

Being told you're good enough is quite frightening as well.
Sometimes you have to look beyond what you see, if that fails... Just listen to Cher.

Escalators.
I refuse to go down them. I get paniked and even going up them freaks me out. Becuase I mean, think about it. You could get caught in it, or you could fall and then it would just keep moving and you would keep falling. Ugh. I HATE them. When I was little I would always feel sick when I had to go down certain stairs, and I"ve mostly gotten over that, but moving stairs? No.

Actually in 3rd grade there was a fire drill and we had to go down some stairs that scared the bejeebus out of me cuz they were kind of narrow, and everyone was running down them and I was so scared that I sat down and started to cry. My teacher had to come get me and help me down.

Heights.
I won't go on ladders and stuff. Plus if I'm really high up, I won't go near the endge, even if there's a railing and stuff.

I'm also afraid of a lot of things that I can't control, like rollercoasters or things like motorcycles if I'm not driving. Like go carts scare me unless I"m driving because then if I get scared I can slow down.

OMG KailaMaie, we have the same exact fears! I'm not too fond of heights... at all... and I had terrible nightmares about falling down escalators when I was little. The dream was that one of my siblings would push down. Then I'd keep falling and falling and falling until I woke up, or I guess I hit the ground. They were terrifying dreams. :(

Creepy-looking dolls. -_- I read a short Chucky-esque story when I was six and they've freaked me out ever since.

I'm afraid of losing people. Mainly death but I'm terrified of like having people hate me and never speak to me again.

I have this inability to not get emotionally attached to everyone I come in contact with, so I freak out something awful when they get upset with me and don't speak to me. It's really dumb, I think It's a security issue I have from not having a dad, but knowing the source hasn't helped me solve the problem.

I'm afraid of pain, but that fear is slowly dissapearing.
I'm afraid of my bladder exploding. Long story.
I'm insanely afraid of ghosts and the dark. When I close my eyes before going to sleep at night, I see faces in front of me. It's scary.
I'm afraid of clowns. Too many clown horror movies, I think.
I'm afraid of failure and rejection.
I'm afraid of knowledge. I don't want to know the wrong things.
I'm afraid of most strange adult men.
I'm afraid of mentally ill men.
I'm afraid of too many little children.
I'm afraid of my friend's dolls. His mom has an entire collection which she keeps in a room. My friend says its strangely cold in there, and they never go in if they can avoid it.
I'm afraid of a certain teacher whom I also greatly respect.
I'm afraid of accidents. Even those that don't involve me.
I'm afraid of being superficial.

Loads more, but I can't think of them at the moment.
Got YWS?

I'm afraid of heights- yet I would love to be able to fly.
- of losing my friends and family.
- of being used and walked over.
- of letting my family down.
- of being a failure- not achieving in life.
-of losing my little brother and sister- I once woke up crying from a dream where my sister was dying.
-of myself.

Go me. XD
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.

I'm afraid of losing my family and friends. I had a nightmare once where my teacher told me my brother, my father, and one of my male friends died. *shudder*

Samuel Garrison wrote:The fear of crashing is always lurking.

For me, it's "feeling watched," and fall asleep to nightmares. I had terrible, awful nightmares as a wee thing. Other than that, if there's a group of people around, I walk freely in the dead of night for hours without an issue. Some nights are better than others. It all depends on how much my imagination is alive.

Me too!
My friends sometimes antagonize me though. Like my friend Eileen, whenever we're outside in the dark she'll be like 'oh my gosh, i think I just saw something move over there. Seriously, there is something over there.' Just to make me freak out.

Lets see...
I'm also afraid of/seriously don't like
-people watching me/attention
-eye contact
-bees
-spiders
-pretty much all insects
-pretty much all natural disasters
-hitting an animal when I'm driving (I would seriously just have a mental break down if I ever did)
-creepers/kidnappers/murders/etc.
-cancer/dying
-the ocean (riptides, undertows, sharks, jelly fish, sting rays) way too much can go wrong...

I'll probably think of more later :)
It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live.

Things I fear:
- heights: I don't know why. I used to like it, and suddenly I don't ...
- flying: might be because of all the plane crashes/movies I more or less watched -_-
- darkness: mostly as an afteraffect of scary movies
and quite a few more, but a little "smaller"

Bears and cougars (I love these animals but my dreams...)
Getting trapped in very tight spaces
My family or pets dying (and my old horse is getting up there in years)
Getting into another car accident
Being paralyzed and not being able to take care of myself
Not being good enough
And flying in an airplane

I'm not scared of death, spiders, heights or snakes. I find them fascinating.

I also hate tornados. That might be because I used to watch the Wizard of Oz so much when I was little, but that really freaks me out. I don't really mind many other natural disasters. I mean, they're horrible and I wouldn't WANT to be in one, but they don't scare me as much.
