Well, I guess I'll start this off.

I fear two very common things:

1)Heights~
I've never been a fan of climbing up high. It's just something about looking down and seeing the world beneath me. Knowing that if I fall, it will be a horrible death. I cannot do anything about it. I cannot struggle, I cannot fly... I just have to take it and go splat.

2)Depths~
I've hated the ocean for the longest time. I didn't really come to means with it until lately. It's not the fact that I can drown, its just the fact of being in the unknown. The world only knows a handful of the creatures that lurk beneath the depths of the water. They only know a few menacing things. But what if way down deep the Loch Ness Monster really does lurk?

I guess you could say that even though my horoscope is a water sign (Cancer) I love being on land. I would care less if I got lost in a forest. I'm still on land. And I'm sure I could find my way back out!

So, what do you fear?

Spiders...*shudders*

Anything that creeps and that has prickly hair
I came into this world wrinkled and ugly. And no matter how much I accumulate here, it's a short journey. I will go out of this world wrinkled and ugly. So I enjoy life.

I got the day off from school today! (Snow) :D
Anyway, I am most afraid of spiders!

I hate the way they looks and walk. I hate the way they hang down in the middle of a room just waiting. The way they plaster webs on the wall. Their eight disgusting eyes and legs!

There was a spider in my room and I didn't sleep in it for a week until I was sure it was gone. Kill it? No! I would never kill anything, even if I hate it! I tried to remove it with some paper but it fell on the floor and scrambed under my bed!
<.<

I hate spiders! I don't know why I'm so afraid of them.

All insects except ants, spiders, and excessive goriness. Spiders are just creepy. Insects are even creepier. And excessive goriness gives me nightmares.
There once was a cat.
He wasn’t particularly fat.
Fuzzy was his favorite mat.
And really, that was that.

Oh, but did you really think so?
Keep reading, it’s just the start of the show!
And as for how far this tale will go…
Well, even the cat doesn’t know.

I'm very afraid of heights. I also don't like being upside down, e.g. in gymnastics or something.

Wow, it seems spiders populate alot of the "votes". I'm not too scared of spiders because Canada doesn't appear to have many poisonous ones creeping around!

And Demeter, as you may have read, I hate heights too. Poor Clo. I hate failiure too... i guess I also hate death. It's just unknowing of what will happen....

The sea.

And heights. But I love the adrenaline that comes with the latter. :)

I love heights and depths ^.^ Spiders are kinda creepy. Failure is just another part of life, as natural as breathing.

I'm not sure what I'm scared of. Being chased?

I'm afraid of my ideas being stolen. yikes!

I hold a lot of my stories close to my heart and the thought of one being reprinted by someone else really scares me!

Luckily for me, I've never 'got' that fear of reptiles and insects. For god's sake, I've had a boa constrictor go down my top :*) (although I'll admit that was a bit freaky).
In a way it's worse for me though. My unconventional fear is of crowded places. Too many people = my idea of hell. Walking into a crowd of people, for me, is like strolling into a swarm of bees!! But worse.

I don't do too well with heights or depths but I can deal with spiders, as long as they can't reach me. We have a pet garden snake in my new Science class and he doesn't really bother me.

My main fears have to do with people:
-crowds
-being alone in a public place
-ordering my own food
-raising my hand in class
-getting up in class
-not knowing where my seat is in class/lunch
-embarrassing myself
-talking to new people
-presenting or just getting up to introduce myself to the class
-sometimes walking down to the bus stop by myself
-calling anyone other than my best friend, family, or my friend's cell phones

Another one that is somewhat related to my issue with people is change.

You don't have to tell me those are irrational. Trust me, I know. :)

Why those scare me is simple; I'm always afraid everyone is judging me. Sometimes, it's not even that. Today I started new classes and it was just my body reacting. I shook, my face turned red, and I couldn't sit still. At one point, there were tears in my eyes.

I'm not looking for sympathy here; I just hope none of you let the fear get that far if you can help it.

The DARK!!!!!!!

You don't know what's in the dark. ANYTHING could be in the dark waiting to come and get you! The dark is just filled with too many unknowns.
I plan out worst case scenarios so I actually think of anything and everything that could possibly attack me in the dark.

I have gotten slightly better though....

wow, always...i have those same fears too! Like almost everything you listed/said is the same for me too! :D
