I would like to welecome all of you to the first YWS official Pure Awesomeness Award.

As all of you know, I coined the term at an early age. Since then, I have proclaimed that I am the only one who lives up to this standard.

Tonight, a new person of pure awesomeness shall be rewarded. Allow me to explain why this particular person was chosen as the winner of this award.

My descision became clear some time ago. However, I decided that the best time for this award to be presented was now, after the struggle of NaNoWriMo. I felt that, in this time of relief and rest, we shall honor one who has proven that they are truely above all other people...except me, of course.

I chose this person as the winner because of one particular deed. It was quite some time ago when our winner created a thread within the writing tips section of the YWS boards. This thread gave many tips on writing, and was quite splendid.

It was sometime later that I became aware of the idea of writing for a living. I began searching for a place where I could learn to write. YWS was one of many places that I considered.

I was looking through the websites for something that set them apart from the others. I was considering many, including fictionpress, critique circle, and writing.com. YWS was also being considered, but I was conserned that the writing abilities of other young writers wouldn't help me reach my full potential.

It was at that time that I found this thread. I was soaked in by the genious and the talent possessed by this talented young writer. I proceeded to look at all the good things about YWS, and joined it, along with the others. All of the others went on to fail me in the long run, and I now am exclusively a member of YWS.

Through this award, I send this talented young woman my sinserest thanks.
