Seriously, the first person to get this right gets 50pts just for fun. Here's why: this was the last question on our fiction test in Creative Writing. Out of 17 people in our class, 15 of us missed it. I said "I think if better than 75% of the class missed it, then it should be thrown out. The wording was weird." He said "but two of you got it right." So even though 15/17 people missed it, it still counts. Niice.

Fill in the blank:

The character who relates the story or through whose senses the author filters the events of the story is called the ____________________ character.

No word bank available. Think writing terms, though.

Will give 50pts to whoever gets it right first! Will let it run for awhile if no one gets it, or until someone does. So, assume that if I haven't posted to say that the answer has been named, then it's still up for grabs. Because I might not say anything if your answer is wrong :D

Barring what Snoinkus said, Main? xD

You're right. It's worded funky.

I would say point of view, but I think Rosey covered that with view point? o.o

I would have simply gone with 'Main' character, like Teague said. *shrugs*

Is it something silly like "primary" character instead of "main" character?
