I was listening to the radio, and there was an Obama add. It was different people saying, "I registered to vote because..."

For example:

"I registered to vote because it's my body, not their's."

Except all of the views expressed were purely liberal. There was no "I registered to vote because I don't want unborn babies murdered."

At the end, it said this:

"Paid for by voteforobama.com"

I laughed out loud.

I guess he's saying that they're voting for Obama for stupid reasons. At least, that's the impression I get. Ps. It's ad not add.

No, I'm saying it's funny because they're encouraging people to vote, but only if they're voting for Obama.

Oh. So, what's wrong with that isn't that what a political party is supposed to do? Like, I would think that McCain would tell people to vote for him along with the Republican's. Plus, if you oppose this so much then why not work harder to get McCain elected?

Well, I can see how that's somewhat wrong but people do have the right to try and persuade people to vote for their candidate.

I see what you're saying. But, I don't think you understood what I said. I'm saying that MCcain advertises for people to vote for him so what's wrong about Obama doing the same? Aren't they obligated to get people to vote for them if they want to run?

Yes, but I vote because it's my duty as a citizen... so obviously all those people are voting for the wrong reason.
