The corpses are piled high around. Blood carpets the floor and flames scorch away the last remnants of humanity. The screams of the damned echo in my head. I smile. I am home.
Hey there, just a brief note to ask if you could please avoid using chat speech such as 'u' and capitals for 'i' and at the beginning of sentences would be great. Remember, YWS is a writer's community.
With that said, I'm not really a huge fan of emo but I don't completely hate it. A couple of my friends swayed in that direction a few years ago and I didn't disown them for it XD
Everyone who loves emo is aged 13-17. Everyone who hates emo is older than this. It's a great young teenager thing to have, but after that, you mature and it becomes less cool.

Bright colors? I thought emos liked to wear dark colors and draw red lines on their arms like they cut themselves. Or actually cut themselves. Aren't bright colors more of a punk thing?
I'd land emo somewhere in between goth and punk, Clo.
Frylock, please, no books! I can't read; I'm not a loser!

I dress a bit emo I guess, according to your definition of emo--I'm definitely a fan of tight jeans and bright colors and hair over my eyes and a lot of eyeliner--but I think of myself as more punk, not depressed.

Palin: What if he's got a bunch?
Haha. Nate and I and a bunch of other old farts are used to emos who want to dress in two colors: red and black. You're ranting about a thread that is three years old when emos were the ones who were basically extreme goths.
