Alright. So after bugging my parents to let me get my own laptop a store finally put them on sale. So I got a Toshiba (sp)!!!!!!!!!! Now that my mind has stopped screaming along with me, I have some questions. At the moment my dad is hooking it up to our wireless internet so I don't really know if what I have on there is a trial or not.

Windows Vista came on it. Sooooooooo, my question is, is it just a trail version or is it installed on there permenitly?????????

Can anyone answer that?

Congrats! :D I got my own laptop about 3 months ago after bugging my parents for years =o

I should have thought it is the full version of windows vista.. my laptop came with the full version. But you could probably check if you look up the model on google or something.

Ok, thanks.

One more fast question. Does that include Word, Excel and all that?

You probably have to purchase Microsoft Office. Unless it came preinstalled on the laptop. If it's not there, you have to buy it. Pretty simple.

It'll probably just come with something like wordpad, among the usual paint/notepad etc, which is like a basic form of microsoft word.

It may well have come with Microsoft Works instead of Office. If not, you could download Open Office, which provides similar software and is free. :)
