Though I think that the numbers these people throw at you are completely fabricated, it's still fun to go to this site -- http://www.lulu.com/titlescorer/index.php -- and see how much chance your novel has of being a bestseller according to it's title.

But remember, "there are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics."

-Kylan

(PS: My novel, Honor, rated a 31.7% chance of becoming a bestseller. How about yours?)

I agree with your quote entirely, but heck. This sounds fun. ^^

I put in my fantasy (which was put to a halt to all my readers due to this obstacle called "school") Finding Atlantis, and it has a 55.4% chance.

I wonder what my others are...

Death Machine: 69%

The Party Killers: 41.4% -- And I get the same score if I remove "the"?

Hah, maybe I won't change Death Machine's title! Although The Party Killers is still my favorite.

The World Before has a 20.1% chance... hmm. Actually, I think that it's kind of dumb, because real writers at a writing group at my library applauded the title.

But it was fun.

Let's see...

The Magic of Chocolate has a 69% chance.

Those are my only two long stories right now...
