Logically speaking, Dono, you're absolutely right. It's a miracle the Cavs have made it this far, and they don't stand a chance against Duncan and the Spurs.
But everyone forgets that the Cavs have Cleveland, and by God, we've been waiting for this moment for years. The city is just so neglected and hopeless -- we're the poorest city in the nation, and no one gives a damn.
But the Cavs getting this far ... it has almost awakened the city. The Cavs have motivation to win this, not only for themselves and their salaries, but for Cleveland.
I guess we'll see what happens on Thursday...
i thought you were shallow, but then i fell in deep.
I went down to the Q for game one of the playoffs, despite the fact that they were playing in San Antonio. There was a big watch party inside the arena -- I would say everyone there was around my age, hardly any adults. Lots of music. And everyone was screaming at the top of their voices for the full four hours I was there ... geez. Just this stream of unmitigated noise.
Kind of disappointed that we lost, but it was sort of inevitable. They were playing like little kids out there: they could hardly dribble the ball, it was just a free for all. No structure. Still, Cleveland held their own -- I don't know the hell we did it. I will say that the dispite the loss, I still think we can win. The Cavs lost their first two to Detroit. It took two games in order to understand what kind of game they played. So ... here's hoping.

Mostly because I'm holding a grudge against the Spurs for knocking off the Suns. *mutters dark things in the corner*

I think I'm pretty much the only person who cares. At least on these forums. That's okay, though. Lost again tonight, hopefully when we're in Cleveland Tuesday things will look up! -Crosses fingers-
I love my boobie. Boobie Gibson, that is.
