I'm not sure what category this should be in...but I created a website with a lot of really good icons. I myself did not make the icons, I just compiled the best ones. It's here, www.freewebs.com/toomanyicons

Some of those are nice... Not to be a spoilsport, but did the original icon makers say it was ok for you to put their icons on another website without crediting them? Also, you might be hotlinking to some accounts that have limited bandwidth...
It's just that I've seen a lot of icon makers on livejournal being very particular about these things.

Well...I think so. The people whose sites I went to, didn't make them. Thanks for telling me, though.

Did you consider making them? I mean you can collect them, surely you know what can be made?

Mmm...not really. One, I don't have the time. Two, I don't know how.

But mainly reason number two.

True -- good point about stealing people's bandwidth. I hope you've saved them on your machine first and hosted them somewhere else rather than hotlinking them from the original site.

Anyway, I liked some of them. They're pretty cool, but because they're something you didn't actually do, I'm going to have to move this topic. Sorry!

I liked 'em, but I think I'm on the side of you shouldn't have taken others, even if you are only compiling them for others use and probably didn't credit them as your own.

I'm just finicky like that. I prefer to hunt through Iconator for my Icons.

The 'This is the End' one is pretty awesome.
