He's a musical mastermind. Anyone heard of him?
when there's nowhere to go, it's time to grow up.

i have! BUT i haven't heard anything by him. I just heard a reference to him in a Snow Patrol song, and then looked him up.
"Sometimes we see a cloud that's dragonish,
A vapour sometimes like a bear or lion,
A towered citadel, a pendant rock,
A forked mountain, or blue promontory,
With trees upon't that nod unto the world,And mock our eyes with air.."

 Same for me, Muse... only then I had to look up a few of his songs. His song "Chicago" is truly amazing.

I can't say I'm a huge fan but "Casimir Pulaski Day" is probably one of my favorite songs ever and you can definitely respect his appreciation for epic arrangements.

Listening to "Chicago" right now.
"He yanked himself free and fled to the kitchen where something huddled against the flooded windowpanes. It sighed and wept and tapped continually, and suddenly he was outside, staring in, the rain beating, the wind chilling him, and all the candle darkness inside lost."

'Jacksonville'...

I love the way that every song is in a bit different style- it really represents the state, or the planet, or whatever the album is centered around.

Yummy stuff...
